Sunsets

If you grew up in the 1990s and were a fan of the Malgudi Days, here’s something for you. The Agumbe village in the Shimoga district is the fictional village in the series. Our resort is around 45 minutes distant from this gorgeous village in the Western Ghats.

So we can get you there just in time to see the sunset over the hills, leaving a shard of colour to accentuate the beauty of the rich green mountains for one last time. Our visitors enjoy the visual delight of being there. There’s also a private sunset viewpoint where you can take in the stunning sunset. Agume is a bundle in and of itself as there is so much to see.

Sri Krishna Matha

The beauty of temples in the evening is unfathomable, and it would be a sin not to see them while in Udupi, which is known for its temples in southern India. The Sri Krishna Matha temple, which is only a one-hour drive from Tinton resorts, is one such temple. People travel from all over the world to visit this temple in order to see Lord Krishna.

The idol of Lord Krishna is worshipped through Navagruha Kindi, a little window, which is one of the temple’s unique features. The temple is open until 9 p.m. so that you can see Lord Krishna and Sri Krishna Matha. You can also visit the astha matha, which consists of eight matha, including Sri Krishna Matha—taking your own time to explore them all.
